Analog Voice Scrambler

This analog circuit takes an input, and reverses the frequency with the use of a bandpass filter, a balanced modulator, and a lowpass filter. Read more about it below, and watch a video of it working.

Paper Speaker Driver

A paper driver cone was built with a voicecoil and magnets to produce sound from a source. The driver was added to a cardboard box to increase the bass response. There is a video and a report for this design.

Musical Compositions

Sonata in G

This piece was composed in G major, bt modulates to D major. It uses Albetri bass, multiple themes, and emphasizes the melody wiht a minimal left hand.

Fugue in E Minor

The Fugue has a six measure subject with three measure phrases that is a minor version of a theme from the Sonata. The countersubject in the middle section is different than the exposition, and there is a different rythmic style in each voice.

Musical Instrument Design

The Octagonal Harp

This instrument was constructed from PVC pipes, lumber, guitar strings, and tuning pegs. The Octagonal Harp utilizes harmonic similarities between strings, and amplifies the greates common denominator frequency with closed pipes.

This piece was performed by myself in 2012. The piece is called "Norwegian Wood", and was written by The Beatles originally. This performance is of Victor Wooten's cover of the piece.
